Mechanism of action

BPC-157 Arginate shares the same fundamental mechanism as standard BPC-157. The pentadecapeptide interacts with the nitric oxide (NO) system, modulating both endothelial NOS and inducible NOS pathways. It promotes angiogenesis through upregulation of VEGF and its receptor VEGFR2, enhances collagen synthesis via COL1A1 gene expression, and modulates the FAK-paxillin signalling pathway involved in cell migration and wound healing. The arginine salt may provide additional NO substrate, potentially complementing the peptide NO-modulating effects.
